CONADE (National Commission for Physical Culture and Sports), together with all the Mexican Sports Federations and 185 national media granted the recognition to the most prominent Mexican athletes in the 20th century. Jorge Font received this award from the President of the Republic of Mexico, Ernesto Zedillo, on November 2000, as the Mexican water-skier of the 20th century.
